Michigan Storytellers Festival
Friday, July 17th and Saturday, July 18th
Don't miss our master storytellers who bring the oral tradition to life and mix stories with music, spirit and drama: Onawumi Jean Moss "the soulful storyteller" of Massachusetts, encourages pride of heritage and kinship; Ivory D. Williams of Ohio interweaves stories with wit, humor and positive images; Yvonne Healy of Howell (MI) presents Blarney & Beyond, weird Irish legends, folktales, and more.
As always there will be an array of workshops and youth concerts during the day with storytellers in concert, 7-10 p.m., each at night. It's FREE fun for all on the lawn of the Flint Public Library.
