June: Fri. 18th 10am-5pm           
Explore the Garden

Join us in June to see how our gardens have grown. Enjoy the delights of beautiful flowers, soft green grass, educational nature walks and family activities… all at a historic Flint home. Come learn some simple ways to make your life healthier while having fun!

July: Sun 18th noon-6pm                       
Discover Music in the Garden

Visit us in July for an afternoon of gospel music with elder A. Jeffrey LaValley and The Flint Area Musicians and Directors Ensemble. Their concert begins at 4pm. Earlier in the day, you can also enjoy a live performance of “Jack and the Beanstalk” by the Kearsley Park Players. This charming 30 minute presentation is produced with kids in mind… showing at 1pm and again at 2pm.

Learning in the Garden

Take some time in August to explore Applewood’s connections to our community’s past and present. Held in conjunction with Flint’s Back to the Bricks community event, we offer you a day of discovery and fun! Visit Applewood and take Mrs. Mott’s advice to “learn something new every day!”

Fall Harvest Day

Join us for Applewood’s eighth annual celebration of the traditions of the fall harvest. Enjoy colorful displays, entertainment, family activities and tasty treats including our heritage apples. It is a day of fun for people of all ages and interests.
