The world of Fantastica.  Peace is threatened with annihilation by The Nothing.  When a young boy is called upon to save the threatened world, he encounters incredible creatures of all shapes and sizes on his journey through the perils of treacherous lands.  As Bastian reads this extraordinary book, his imagination draws him away from the troubles of his own life and deeper into the story.  It is in this new realm where he discovers the courage needed to succeed in both worlds.
